Aqvila is proud to announce that we by Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S have been awarded the design sub-contract for the Boiler Building ad Flue Gas Treatment area primary steel structures, secondary steel structures and façade girts for the new Gentse Warmte Centrale power plant located in Ghent, Belgium.
The design work includes complete detailed design including preparation of workshop documents necessary for the manufacturing of the steel structures.
The new 19.99 MW biomass power plant will be fuelled by demolition waste wood which is unsuitable for recycling to provide a carbon-neutral solution.
