NORTH POWER STATION TAKEOVER

Aqvila is hereby proud to announce that BELCO have successfully taken-over the new North Power Station on Bermuda, for which Aqvila have delivered the complete detailed design of the civil and building works to our client Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S.

Aqvila have during the project been responsible for designing all reinforced concrete sub- and superstructures, the main and secondary steel structures (approx. 500T of steel) and the façade girts.

The brand new Power Plant has a capacity of 56 MWe.
