Aqvila is hereby proud to announce that Elfelagið SEV have successfully taken-over the new power plant (SUND3) in the Faroe Islands, for which Aqvila have delivered detailed design and supply of secondary steel structures to our client Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S.
Aqvila have during the project been responsible for designing and delivering all supporting steel structures for various equipment including ladders, stairs, guardrails and gratings which includes approx. 100T of steel.
The project was an extension of the existing SUND 1 & 2 plants increasing the capacity with an extra 37 MW.
