Aqvila is hereby proud to announce that we by Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S have been awarded the design & supply sub-contract for the civil and building works for the new extension to the DPPII power plant located in Paramaribo in Suriname.
The design contract includes detailed design of all reinforced concrete sub- and superstructures as well as design, manufacture and supply of the powerhouse steel superstructure; complete cladding envelope and overhead travelling crane.
The new extension to the power plant will, when fully operational, increase the plant’s total capacity from 84 MW to 126 MW.
