Description
Shortly after the handing-over of Coloplast’s first facility in Costa Rica (CMCR I) in the beginning of 2021, a project comprising remodulation and utility extension of the clean rooms was initiated, in order to accommodate new requirements to the production machines and utilization of the clean rooms.
This remodulation project comprises architectural and finishing works inside of the approx. 3,100 m² clean rooms (ISO 7 in occupancy state ‘as-built/at-rest’) as well as installation of additional air handling units as well as extension and modifications to the existing utility supply lines on the 3,100 m² technical floor above the clean rooms. Moreover, the project included appurtenant reinforcement of the structural floor. The remodulation project was ongoing while the remaining building incl. general production area was in full operation by Coloplast.
