Description
Coloplast’s first facility in Costa Rica (CMCR I) was completed at the beginning of 2021, and just one year later, the second facility (CMCR II) was handed over in 2022.
This second facility has a gross floor area of approx. 18,100 m² comprising a two-storey administration building with reception, locker rooms, offices, meeting rooms, approx. 9,000 m² production area including 3,100 m² clean rooms of class ISO 7 in occupancy state ‘as-built/at-rest’ as well as ambient and cooled warehouses, utility and dispatch areas. Moreover, the project comprises interlinked exterior parking areas, truck maneuvering areas, and green areas in accordance with the masterplan.
Coloplast projected having more than 450 people employed in the facilities by the end of 2022, with an expected increase to more than 700 by the end of 2025.
