Aqvila agreed to assist Novo Nordisk with client consultancy in relation to various technical and commercial Civil work (including building services) issues related to the construction of the new pharma building (approximately 900 m2) in Ganløse, Denmark. The existing building structure was dismantled and demolished and a new one-story building was constructed.
Danish steel manufacture DS Stålkonstruktion was in 2018 awarded the Design & Build contract to design, manufacture, supply and install the new roof steel structure in the Bounce store at the Field’s shopping centre in Copenhagen, Denmark. The existing roof steel structure was demolished/dismantled and a new roof steel structure supported by the existing structures was installed increasing the vertical room clearance by 4 m.
The CHM VI project comprises a total floor area of 20,840 m2 consisting of seven class 10,000 clean rooms of varying sizes totalling approx. 6,250 m2, a general production area, a warehouse area and a utility and dispatch area. Additionally, the project includes the creation of an atrium courtyard located in the production area, a two storey administration building fronting the complex as well as a connection corridor and connection of utilities to the adjacent CHM IV facility.
Danish engineering company Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) was in January 2018 awarded a contract to build a high-efficiency 120 MW power plant in Cotonou, Benin. Aqvila subsequently won the design & supply sub-contract for the civil and building works.
