Danish engineering company Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) was in autumn 2014 awarded a contract to build a combined heat (7.8 MWth) and power (20.2 MWe) turnkey biomass (waste wood) power plant in Widnes, England. Aqvila subsequently won the design & supply sub-contract for the civil and building works.

SNETTERTON RENEW. ENERGY

Burmeister & Wain Energy A/S, hereinafter referred to as BWE was as consortia partner responsible for the design and supply of boiler and the appurtenant systems. The boiler’s firing system consists of 4 parallel operating straw conveying lanes, feeders and water cooled vibration grate. A woodchip conveyor system performs additional supply. An oil firing system is used during start-up of the boiler and back-up firing.

Danish engineering company Semco Maritime A/S was in spring 2015 awarded a contract to build a 7.5 MW turnkey biogas power plant in Patacon, Panama. Subsequently, Aqvila won the design contract for the reinforced concrete structures.

COLOPLAST, CHM V

The CHM V project comprises a total floor area of 19,700 m2 consisting of three class 10,000 clean rooms of varying sizes totalling approx. 3,500 m2, one controlled area of approx.. 2,200 m2, a general production area, a warehouse area and a utility and dispatch area. Additionally, the project includes the creation of an atrium courtyard located in the production area, a two storey administration building fronting the complex as well as a connection corridor and connection of utilities to the adjacent CHM IV facility.
