The CHM V project comprises a total floor area of 19,700 m2 consisting of three class 10,000 clean rooms of varying sizes totalling approx. 3,500 m2, one controlled area of approx.. 2,200 m2, a general production area, a warehouse area and a utility and dispatch area. Additionally, the project includes the creation of an atrium courtyard located in the production area, a two storey administration building fronting the complex as well as a connection corridor and connection of utilities to the adjacent CHM IV facility.
Danish engineering company Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) was in autumn 2013 awarded a contract to build a combined heat (6.1 MWth) and power (15.8 MWe) turnkey biomass (wood chip) power plant in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Aqvila subsequently won the design & supply sub-contract for the civil and building works.
Danish engineering company Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) was in November 2013 awarded a contract to build a 40 MW turnkey biomass (straw and wood chip) power plant in Lincolnshire, England. Aqvila subsequently won the supply sub-contract for the mechanical platform and pipe support steel structures inside the Turbine building.
Grundfos are currently planning a new combined office and social block by the existing production facility in the town of Tatabánya in Hungary. The gross floor area of GMH I New Block is 2,290 m2 and comprises a three-storey building (including basement) comprising locker rooms, squash courts, fitness center, spinning/calenetic room, lunch room and offices. The new building is linked to the existing GMH I Production building by a glazed connection corridor. Moreover, the scope also covered a two-storey rebuild inside the existing GMH I Production building housing a medical clinic.
